Evan Hansen in Wired News on a new word created by Chris Pirillo which is rippling up through the blogosphere: It’s called “freedbacking” and it’s generating some buzz among software developers looking to find new ways to connect with users and get feedback. Participation and co-creation are in the focus:
“Companies already offer ways for users to provide feedback, for example, through e-mail and forms. But those methods are private, giving users little sense of participation.”
